Look out world, the grandparents Skype!

Yesterday we went to EPCOT with Mimi and Paw Paw to check out the Flower and Garden Festival. I was surprised it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. Our first stop, naturally, was The Seas with Nemo. Ok, we need to talk about this for a moment. As we were going through the line we got held up by a family whose one daughter was having a total meltdown because she's afraid of sharks. The Mom was trying to convince her there are no sharks (um really, have you not seen the movie lady???), anyway the girl wasn't buying it and the meltdown turned into a high pitched shriek. Here's my thing, kids have meltdowns, kids freak out, don't take her on the ride. If she doesn't want to go why make her so upset that she's screaming and almost hyperventilating? Right?

After that debacle we stopped for a snack:

Then we checked out all the beautiful flowers and well...gardens. One section is all on the home vegetable/fruit garden:

It was a great way to spend the afternoon with Mimi and Paw Paw! Can't wait to do it again!

When we got home we got to Skype with Auntie Cathy and then....wait for it...Busia and Dzia Dzio. Seriously! My parents are now on Skype, watch out world! My Mom just got a new laptop mainly to have a built in webcam so they can Skype with the kids. So we get all set up, they pop and the screen and....nothing. For some reason their microphone isn't working so this is what we saw:

And even though I couldn't hear them, I could read lips. I don't think that conversation was PG rated, g d it. The kids still had a blast though and actually pulled their chairs so they could sit and talk with Busia and Dzia Dzio:

We're going to try again tomorrow, hopefully it will work.

Hope you all are having a great weekend and enjoying the great weather (and here's hoping the weather is great by you!).

HA HA HA! I totally understand. My parents pretend like they understand technology, but we all know the truth...
