Dateline: May 26, 2006
Where: The Living Seas VIP Room
What: Rehearsal Dinner
Tomorrow is our 4th wedding anniversary so it's only fitting that this weeks Way Back When-esday be a photo from our rehearsal dinner. Funny story about our rehearsal, our bachelor/bachelorette parties were the night before (and boy am I glad). Scott's groomsmen and friends did such a good job making sure he had a great time that he couldn't even think of drinking at the rehearsal. *Side note, if you were driving down Hotel Plaza Blvd that day I apologize for the vomit in the road, that was Scott*
Our rehearsal dinner was at The Living Seas in EPCOT. It poured like crazy when we arrived and all of us received complimentary* (pretty sure that appeared on our bill) ponchos. We were in the VIP room upstairs and the divers that were in the water even stopped in to say hi to all the kids. How cool is that?
The hit of the night though was the grooms cake. I know traditionally it is served at the actual wedding, but gosh that's a lot of cake, so we decided to serve it at the rehearsal. It was an Oreo cake (translation, chocolate with chocolate and then some chocolate). Ken, the wedding planner, and I had pulled off the best surprise of all, we had Scott's Disney badge turned into sugar and used as the centerpiece of the cake.
I can't believe this was four years ago, it just seems like yesterday!
Play along with Cheryl at Twinfatuation!
