Scott and I were in the car, alone (gasp), the other day and we were talking about the kids. I told him I was jealous of the relationship they have and I hope that they have it the rest of their lives. Scott laughed and reminded me about how they fight. True, they do, but then there's moments like this:
The love between these two is totally indescribable, as many of you multiples parents can attest to. When one is sick, the other shows concern and sacrifices attention so the other can get it, usually without complaining. Whenever we've had to rush one to the ER or Urgent Care for something, the other will not go to sleep in their room until the one that is sick is home. The bond between them is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. It's so different than just a brother-sister relationship, it's so much more.
They still share a room, I just can't bring myself to separate them (plus, we'd lose our guest room). We decided we would leave it up to them on when they want to separate bedrooms. I just want to savor these moments as long as I can.

I love it! Jon and Matthew just asked me to push their beds back together so they could cuddle at night. They've been sleeping in the same bed but running out of space.
