It happened...I went back to work. Today was my very first day away from my kiddos, all day, in 4 years. I handled this a whole lot better than I thought I would have. Jill woke up early enough to give me a hug and kiss before I left:
You have to love when your little girl says, "Mommy you look beautiful!" before you walk out the door in the morning.
My first day was pretty good and I'm thinking I'm going to love this job. I know I'm going to have to let go on a lot of things since Scott will be in charge for the most part while I'm at work. This does not bode well with my type-A personality. My friend Dawn already gave me "the talk" about this.
All things considered I think I did well today with the kids, let's hope that continues!
