My Day As Told By Parks and Recreation

I had one of those days that made me close my eyes repeatedly and count to 10, so I thought it would be fun to retell the day via Parks and Recreation.

My work philosophy, everyday.

We all went to lunch where we all ate our feelings. It should be noted that I had a turkey burger, which they have not had for months. It was the highlight of my day, next to the handful of candy corn I had.

True story, I hit this point in the afternoon.

Needless to say, I had to watch the best of Donna to make it all better. I love her.

Here's hoping hump day is better.

Thanksgiving Thursday

For those of you that don't know what Thanksgiving Thursday is, it is the one time during the week where you stop and basically count your blessings. Even if you've had one of those weeks, I promise you can find at least one thing to be thankful for, no matter how big or small.

This week I am thankful for:

• Scott who is the best. There's really not much more to add to that, he just simply is the best.

• Aaron who is such a big boy at school. It makes me a little sad to see him growing up.

• Jillian who is the sassiest kindergartner ever, but the cutest all at the same time.

• Family all around us.

• Running time with one of my best friends.

• A year in a job that I enjoy.

• Weekly cupcakes.

• Great coworkers.

• The return of pumpkin spice everything. I may turn orange by Thanksgiving.

• Treat yo self
