In other grandfather news, time to share another funny story from my Dad. After he said this I debated giving that guy who writes Sh*t My Dad Says a run for his money.
So I was on the phone with him telling him how the kids and I watched the original Fantasia yesterday and how I forgot how disturbing some of the scenes are (you know, Night on Bald Mountain with all the dead people). So we got to talking about other Disney movies that I might hold off on and I knew what was coming next. Oh it's priceless.... "You know that Alice in Wonderland isn't a good one, with that caterpillar smoking pot. (now talking to my Mom) No not Johnny Depp, the first one with that G@d d@mn caterpillar that smokes that pipe and is high, I don't understand." I have tears at this point, tears, maybe even a few right now as I write this. So take that guy who talks about the crazy stuff his Dad says. Maybe we should introduce them? I think they'd be good friends.
