15 month appointment

The kiddos had their 15 month appointment today. We were taking bets on how big they would be, and actually we were all wrong. Aaron weighed in at a very healthy 28lbs 4oz and is 32 1/4 inches long. Jillian is 23lbs 12oz and 32 inches long. Aaron is in the 90th percentile and above on all categories, and Jill is 75th for weight and 90th for height. Developmentally they are right on track. Aaron is not talking as much as they would like, well not that he's not talking, he's just not saying enough words. Jillian definitely impressed the doctor by saying "What's that?!"

The appointment got off to a bumpy start though. I think Jill has figured out that when we go there and she sees a certain nurse that means she's going to get shots. The poor girl screamed the minute we went into the back, the entire time on the scale, and while she was getting her temperature taken. Aaron could have cared less until they actually stuck him, then he gave Scott that "how could you Daddy?" look.

Both are handling the shots and everything really well. We're going to need to watch Jill though, last time she got the DTaP she ran a pretty high fever, but she was also starting to get sick at that point too, so we have no idea which one caused the fever.
