It's your anniversary? OPA!

Scott and I went out for our anniversary last night and keeping with tradition we picked a Disney restaurant. This year we went to Kouzzina by Cat Cora on the Boardwalk. We're huge Iron Chef America fans, so we'd been dying to try this place since we heard it was coming. Kouzzina is a Greek restaurant (honoring Cat's Greek heritage) and was out of this world! Even if you don't think you would like Greek food, I promise you, you would.

Scott and I both started with Greek wine, I cannot remember the name of it, but both glasses were delicious. For an appetizer we got the Kouzzina sampler which included: Choice of two Skewers (we had the spicy Gulf prawns and sesame lamb meatballs) with Marinated Olives, spiced cashews, Dolmades, Tzatziki Hummus and Grilled Pita .

Delicious looking, right? For dinner Scott had the Fisherman's Stew, which is: Scallops, seasonal Fish, Shellfish, Fennel, Grilled Bread and Ouzo Butter.

I had the slow cooked lamb shank, which is served with oven baked gigantes beans and pepper sauce. Both were out of this world!

For dessert Scott had the Loukoumades which are freshly made Greek doughnuts drizzled with warm honey. They had some kind of dipping sauce with them but I don't think he tried them. I had the Galaktoboureko which is semolina custard in baked phyllo dough and vanilla-praline gelato. Mine was really yummy and I would totally buy that gelato in bulk it was out of this world! Our waiter also brought out a cupcake that had a candle in it since we were celebrating our anniversary. Thankfully he did not announce it to the whole restaurant, not a fan of that.

It was a great night out with great food and even better company! Love you Scott, thanks for a great night!
