My little artists

Have I mentioned how absolutely gorgeous the weather has been? It's actually starting to feel like Fall, well at least Florida Fall. The kiddos and I got to spend a good chunk of time outside yesterday drawing with chalk. I have to say there is nothing like a kid asking you to draw something like say a helicopter, you drawing it terribly and them thinking it's a work of art. Thanks for the ego boost kiddos!

The other day at Michael's I got the kiddos a bunch of little projects, for a grand total of $23, I'm that good. We got some paint with water books, coloring books, paint brushes, stickers and color wonder paper and markers. I thought we would try out the paint with water yesterday. I'm not a huge fan of paints with little ones, mainly because I don't like the mess, so for me these are perfect!

Jill absolutely loved painting in the books. She sat there for at least 45 minutes, which is unusual for her. Aaron liked it, but didn't love it. He enjoyed playing with the cup of water more than anything.

I also made some yummy maple pumpkin muffins yesterday. The kids gobbled them right up! I'll post the recipe tomorrow for everyone, it's really yummy, tastes just like the pumpkin spice muffin from Panera.
