Thanksgiving Thursday

For those of you that don't know what Thanksgiving Thursday is, it is the one time during the week where you stop and basically count your blessings. Even if you've had one of those weeks, I promise you can find at least one thing to be thankful for, no matter how big or small.

This week I am thankful for:

• Scott, he's awesome and I am so lucky to have him. I cannot believe I've known him for 8 years and that we'll be married for 5 this May. Time certainly flies.

• Aaron's funny comments this week, like when Scott asked if he understood what he was saying and Aaron shook his head and said "No..." at least he's honest, right?

• Jill's hilarious rendition of twinkle twinkle little star/last half of the ABC's. I'm so happy she's feeling better and can now focus on her toy guitar playing and performing.

• Having my MOM in town. I know she's all tore up inside that she's not in the middle of the blizzard that is hitting Chicago and is just putting on a smile in the beautiful 80 degree weather here. :)

• My Dad having daily conversations with Jill, who knows what he has agreed to at this point. Probably a dozen ponies, at least, maybe a castle too.

• Days where you can have lunch outside and enjoy the sunshine, until the birds come that is.

• Random texts from my dear friend Mitch about our last performance together. We were doing good until he used the word decade, I'm not a fan of thinking something happened a decade ago when it seems like yesterday.
