- I believe that no matter how awful your day/week/year has been you can always find something to be thankful and grateful for.
- I believe that God will never ever give you more than you can handle, even if you don't believe it at the time.
- I believe in family time. It's good to have a day without phones and distractions just with the family.
- I believe that an awful day/week/year can be solved with a pan of brownies, a bottle of wine, pajamas, your best girlfriend and a cheesy romantic comedy.
- I believe in saying please, thank you, and yes/no ma'am/sir.
- I believe in love and marriage. In a world that is full of divorce and adultery, people tend to think love and marriage are a thing of the past. My parents will be married 50 years this May and have been the greatest example of love and marriage for me. It's not perfect, but there truly is nothing better.
- I believe in the power of good deeds without looking for something in return.
- I believe in being able to express your emotions, whether it's happy, sad, angry or just plain crazy. It's healthy to show them, even at totally inappropriate times, just own them.
- I believe in "I'm sorry" and apologizing. Even if you think you are right and the other person is wrong, life is too short to not get past things.
- I believe in the importance of a good education.
- I believe in exposing my kids to the arts.
- I believe in cursive handwriting.
- I believe in our pasts. There is something to be said about your great great great grandparents and all they did to help make you the person you are.
- I believe in getting 8 hours of sleep a night, or after you have twins, 6 or 5.
- I believe in sunscreen and I wish my teenage and early 20 year old self did too.
- I believe the best sound is my children's laughing, like a full on belly laugh.
- I believe in taking risks, no matter how big or small.
- I believe that change is a good and needed thing.
- I believe in lazy days.
- I believe in cuddling up with a good book.
- I believe in kissing "boo-boo's"
- I believe in a tall morning cup of coffee.
I know I have more, I just can't think of them right now. Be sure to read Rebecca's post over at Unexplained X2!
