Happy Father's Day

I'm pretty lucky in the fact that I have been surrounded by some pretty great men in my life. In honor of Father's Day I thought I would gush over them.

Let's start with my Dad:

I was lucky enough to have my Dad around a lot when I was growing up. He actually retired while I was still in high school, so I got to spend a lot of time with him. He instilled in me a work ethic like none other and showed me the importance of family. 

I also had a really awesome grandfather:

Aaron got his middle name, Lee, from my grandpa. I was extremely close with my Grandpa, I practically spent every day at their house growing up. I can't even begin to explain my relationship with my Grandpa, I really wish he was still around to hang out and spoil my kids.  He may not have been my biological grandpa (he was my Grandma's 2nd husband), but he was all I knew and I loved him like none other.

I missed out on a couple of cool grandpa's though. My Dad's Dad:

From all of the stories I hear about both men I know I would have loved them. They were definitely taken too soon in life.

I also acquired an awesome father-in-law:

My kiddos love their Paw Paw like you would not believe. He's so fantastic with them and I am so thankful for him making the man that I married the man that he is. 

Finally, there is Scott:

Oh my Scott, I don't know what I can really say. I've loved him for a long time now, but I fell even more in love with him when the kids were born. I mean really, look at those photos, how can you not love him? He's an amazing father and I could not ask for a better partner in life. I love you babe!
