Sparkling ICE Review

To say it's hot outside would be an understatement. It's beyond hot, dare I say Mordor hot. Keeping this in mind we've been drinking copious amounts of water, but let's face it, water is, well, blah after a while. I was able to try a new sparkling water, Sparkling ICE, as an alternative to my plain ice water.

Sparkling ICE is Naturally-Flavored Sparkling water that contains Zero Calories, Zero Carbs, is Gluten-Free, and lightly carbonated. An excellent soda alternative, Sparkling ICE contains B-Vitamins, Vitamin D and antioxidants, along with a caffeine-free Green Tea Extract that is known to have powerful levels of antioxidants. There are 8 yummy flavors, including Coconut Pineapple, Lemon Lime, Kiwi Strawberry, Lemonade, Orange Mango, Pomegranate Berry, Pink Grapefruit, and Black Raspberry.

I was able to sample Coconut Pineapple, Kiwi Strawberry, Orange Mango, and Pink Grapefruit. Of the four I sampled the Kiwi Strawberry was hands down my favorite, mainly because I'm just not a fan of the other flavors in general. Based on my love of the Kiwi Strawberry flavor, I would venture a guess that if you are a coconut, orange, or grapefruit fan, you would enjoy those flavors.

Another neat thing you can do with these flavored waters is make popsicles out of them. Here's a recipe for the strawberry kiwi pops:

Ingredients:
Popsicle Trays
Popsicle Sticks
2 bottles Kiwi Strawberry
Sparkling ICE
10 strawberries, pureed

Directions:
Fill an ice cube tray with Kiwi Strawberry Sparkling ICE, top each cube with a scoop of pureed strawberries.
Cover tray tightly with tin foil.
Poke a popsicle stick through the foil into each cube.
Place in freezer until cubes are frozen.

While I enjoyed my Sparkling ICE, I have to say it's definitely a 'once in a while' drink for me. There are still a lot of extra ingredients in this water, which I'm normally not a fan of. However, as an occasional treat from my plain water, Sparkling ICE is definitely a great and refreshing option.

To find out where you can purchase Sparkling ICE, visit their website and search for a retailer near you.

Disclosure: I received 4 bottles of Sparkling ICE for review, the opinions expressed are my own and were in no way influenced.
