Well They Call Me the Fireman...

Saturday we had a lot of errands to run and on of them was the grocery store. While we were in there Aaron saw a couple of firemen getting lunch. Scott could tell he wanted to say hi, so he told him to go over, but Aaron was shy. By the time we got to the parking lot he was in full meltdown mode because he didn't get to say hi. I told him we'd make some cookies and take them up to the firehouse so he could finally say hi.

The kiddos helped me make some cookies and while they were baking they made thank you cards to give them. We headed up to the station and delivered the goods. The firemen could see Aaron's excitement so they let him check out the trucks. The kid was in seventh heaven.

This station holds a special place with us, they were the ones to respond when the kids had their seizures. We've always tried to do something nice for them whenever we can.

A huge thank you to the guys for taking the time to show Aaron all of the trucks. He was even introduced to the battalion chief, which is the equivalent of being introduced to Iron Man in his book.

I think we've found Aaron's calling, no?
