I'm totally a TV star, kinda?

Good morning everyone! It's been a full day so far! I just got home from filming a segment for The Daily Buzz. Yahoo!!! It was awesome! I'm going to see if there is a clip of it up later. If you happened to watch let me know what you thought! Scott was hoping for a shout out, but sadly I couldn't fit in that I almost couldn't bring any of the HINT water because he has been drinking it all. We actually almost had to arm wrestle over the last bottle of watermelon!

Thanks again to Chris for setting this up, James the awesome producer and the beautiful Kia Malone! It was a great first time tv appearance :)

I'm going to work on some posts on my review blog this week that will feature all of the products I talked about on this mornings show, plus some recipes that work well with them. Now I'm going to curl up with some coffee out of my fabulous Alice in Wonderland mug! Hope you are having as great of a day as I am!

Baking for a building weekend 2!

I have been a baking fool today. We have another bake sale this weekend at our church to raise money for the building fund. Last week we raised $279 and didn't even have that much to sell, this week I have a feeling will be totally different! I cannot wait to see how much we raise!

I ended up making some Ghiradelli chocolate-chocolate chip muffins, fudge, fudge with peanut butter chips, two apple pies, a batch of triple chocolate chip cookies, zucchini bread, sugar cookies, chocolate cupcakes with pink icing. I'm debating making a batch of brownies, we shall see.

We also did a special project with the kids today, but I can't show pictures until after all grandparents have their presents. I can't wait for you to see what they did!

In other news, my spot for the Daily Buzz is now on Tuesday at 6:15 am EST. I am so excited to be taking part in this and talking about American Baby's Supermarket Stars! Can we talk about the irony that I'm talking about healthy eating on Fat Tuesday??? I just realized that, too funny! I've gotten to try some new products that I'm going to share on my review blog next week.

I hope all of you are having a great weekend!

A river of snot runs through it.....

Lots to chat about today! Let's start with the kids...

Jill was doing much better today, not very congested but still seriously runny. Aaron's congestion has broken up but the snot is a flowin'. Plus he was running a temperature of 99 (I know that's not high whatsoever, but let's not forget what happened in November).

The other day we Skyped with my sister Cathy and niece Lorren. I love Skype! I love being able to talk to someone via video so they can see the kiddos! At one point Jill shut off the screen and my sister snapped this photo:

Yep, that's me in the middle of yelling "Noooooooooooooooo!"

My brother Chris and his wife Pam are in town to celebrate his birthday. When we were driving to the hotel Jill started yelling "Dzia Dzio!". I'm convinced that she thinks my parents live at Disney. It's pretty funny, the room they have is a floor up from the room my parents had for my wedding. Lots of memories there!

When we got home the kids had a package waiting for them from Busia and Dzia Dzio. Both kids were very excited with their cards (Ariel and Cars) and even more excited with their presents, a talking monkey and bull. I was fearful that the monkey would not leave Jill's arms in time for bed.

Do you like the snot/drool combo on Aaron's shirt? *Vomit*

Now onto other, equally as exciting news. I got an email today from a PR person in New York asking me if I would be willing to film a segment for the Daily Buzz which is filmed in Orlando. I jumped at the chance (and not really even knowing what I would be talking about)! I will be filming Febraury 15th and talking about American Baby Supermarket Stars, which is a list of the top healthy foods for baby and family. It's going to be a cinch since most of the foods on the list are ones we already eat! When I get more details I will be sure to share them!

Hope you've been having just as exciting of a day!
