It's 2 am, what infomerical are you watching?

This is totally random, but Scott and I were sitting in bed last night talking about when the kids were little, and how much they have changed since then. We started talking about that first month, you know, the one were you are in a complete fog and can't even remember if you washed the shampoo out of your hair? Well anyway, we were talking about getting up with the kids during the night and how at first we were rocking them in the glider while feeding them their bottles at night. Right, you know how that rocks to sleep? You. I can remember on several occasions bottles hitting the ground and waking me up and two little eyes staring up at me like "Get it together lady!" Scott had the same problem and decided you know what, I'm just going to sit on the couch and do this, I need to stay awake otherwise these kids won't get fed. So we started talking about what we watched with them. If it was the weekend Scott would watch wrestling with them (Jill loves Bautista by the way, I don't know why, but she gets excited to this day if she sees him) and I'd probably have on some trashy reality show. But if we didn't have either of those you would have to watch whatever was actually on (I know, who does that?) and how at 2 am the main thing you are watching is infomercials. So to the point of this long story, we were talking about ShamWow! and how at 2 am when you are severely sleep deprived it sounds like the greatest invention in the world. It did! I remember sitting there thinking "Wow! I can use it as a shower mat AND to wash my car AND it can soak up an entire bowl of water and not drip all over. Holy crap I totally need this!" Scott admitted he thought the same thing and how we didn't end up buying one that first month is beyond me. Anytime I see the infomercial now I laugh and think of that first month with the kids.
