My chicken soup for the soul moment...
Right now I'm reading Chicken Soup for the Soul: Twins and More (I know what you're thinking, you have time to read?), it's a pretty good read. If you're a parent/grandparent of multiples I highly recommend it. Just like all the other versions of Chicken Soup for the Soul each story starts out with a quote, usually having something to do with the story to follow. One quote stood out to me, it was from Mother Teresa and it is "I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish He didn't trust me so much." The story that followed was about a woman in the early 1900s that gave birth to triplet girls, who all survived, and then talked about the trials and tribulations of raising them during the Great Depression. It was a great story, and really puts things into perspective. I mean if this family could do it, we can too, right? I've always been a firm believer in the quote from Mother Teresa. It was one of the first things I thought when I discovered I was having twins. If God didn't think I could handle it, He wouldn't have given me two at the same time, right? Now I believe this more than anything else. With the economy the way it is, with Scott looking for a job, and everything else in between I'm sure I can handle it. God wouldn't give me anything I couldn't handle. Sometimes I think we all need to say that to ourselves, some days more than once. It will get better, just have faith :)

I am reading the same book right now and I LOVE IT! When I was pregnant and would worry about raising two or how we were going to handle it - that very quote came to mind. Such a wonderful quote!
Great post!
