Scott went on an interview today, so fingers crossed that he gets the job! It would only be part time, but right now we'll take anything. We also found out that we kind of got screwed on our health insurance and haven't been covered this whole month (thank you Scott's old job!). My Mom did find us some temporary insurance for super cheap (way cheaper than Cobra), but it doesn't cover well baby visits or the shots that go with it, so hopefully we can get something with benefits soon.
Our friend Jenn is starting to settle into her house. The moving truck came yesterday with all of her stuff, and the car carrier made it with her car, so she's all set. She has also inherited (not sure if it's good or bad) our old couch and loveseat until she can get a new one.
The kiddos have been having a lot of fun with Jenn's boys. Jill was a little unsure at first because she had been getting all of the attention from Jenn up to that point, but she got over it rather quickly.
Jill is learning more signs everyday it seems. She can sign 'milk', 'dog' (as we all know), 'bear', 'signing' and some others I'm sure. Aaron is still sticking with 'dog', I haven't really seen him do too many others. They are starting to talk a lot more too. Jill can say 'Mama', 'Dada', 'dog', 'boom', and something that sounds like 'what's this?'. Aaron can say 'Mama', 'Dada', 'La La La' (and he always says it when you read Moo Baa La La La) and a lot of gibberish in between. It's kind of amazing how much they have picked up on and can do now, but I'm that paranoid Mom that is worried they aren't doing enough and aren't up to potential. I'm overreacting, right?
I'm thinking about getting some finger paints and crayons for them to try doing some of that stuff. It scares the ever living out of me though. I can just see paint in the carpets and on the walls.
