Father's Day Giveaway from The Greener Good

Father's Day is almost upon us, and I have to be honest, it's one of the harder holidays to shop for. I just never know what to get Scott from the kids and this year The Greener Good was nice enough to send over some ideas!

In honor of Father's Day, The Greener Good will be giving away a handmade picture frame made out of recycled bicycle parts (a $36 value) to one lucky winner per day during the week leading up to Father's Day. To be entered to win, post a photo of yourself with your dad on The Greener Good's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/thegreenergoodpage. There will also be coupon downloads available on The Greener Good's Facebook page for a FREE solid shampoo bar (while supplies last) and recycled bicycle chain bottle opener key chains to be given away sporadically.

The all-natural solid shampoo bars are especially great for dads who travel, as they are perfect to carry on the plane. You won't have to repackage just a few ounces; being solid also means you won't have to worry about leaks and spills. Shampoo bars also translate into convenience because one bar works from your head down to your toes. Makes a great camping bar as well for outdoor dads!

While I was on the site checking out all of their gift ideas there were a few that stuck out to me and I really wanted to share them with you. First, there's the recycled guitar string clasp bracelet .

The bracelet retails for $30 and is so cool looking. If the dad you're shopping for is into music, I really think this would be a great gift because it's so different and so cool all at the same time.

Another gift that stuck out to me was the Tuba Herringbone men's casual eco-shoe.

I wish these were Scott's style because I would buy him a pair in every color, they are so awesome looking! These shoes are normally $60, but when I looked this morning they were on special for $45!

Finally, the coolest gift has to be the recycled record coasters. LP Coasters are each created from an original record, which has been trimmed to frame the label with a thin ring of black vinyl. Each coaster is double-sided (as were records) and laminated to protect the labels from moisture and to prevent scuffs on furniture. Coaster sets are comprised of six assorted vintage record labels and packed in a clear round box. These retail for $20 and come in an assortment, you do not get to pick the artist or genre.

One lucky Twice the Love...Half the Sleep reader will get to win a set of the recycled record coasters! For a required entry simply visit The Greener Good and tell me what other product you love, whether it's for you or someone else.

Ooh, I love those coasters! My dad turned his basement into a huge bar / entertainment area, and those would be the perfect gift! From their website, I also love the recycled record bowl, and the recycled record clock...along with a lot of other things (like the teak lemon / lime / garlic press), but I digress. :)

Thanks for the opportunity!
