Every night. Movie Night.

I have felt pretty crappy since Friday (in all reality I would say Wednesday, but I pretended I was fine), so I really haven't left the couch. So what does one do when they are on the couch all day from Friday until Sunday? Watch Lifetime movies.

For real.

I've watched movies about incest and a blind cousin learning about it, dance instructors that become stalkers because they are really in love with the daughter not the mother, amnesia with a side of crazy boyfriend/fiance and the pièce de résistance....a movie about a woman escaping the fundamentalist Mormon camp. (The movie is called In God's Country in case you want to DVR it)

How does this happen? How do you find yourself catching the end of one movie and then getting sucked into four others? I blame the cold medicine. Yes, it was the cold medicine.

Hi, my name is Amanda...

...and I'm addicted to Lifetime and Hallmark Hall of Fame movies that show between the hours of 8pm and 10pm (EST). I cannot switch the channel, it has become a serious problem. Because of this addiction I find myself going through a ridiculous amount of tissue and Starbuck's ice cream.

Last week I got sucked into the Pregnancy Pact on Lifetime, I was hooked within 10 minutes, hooked! Then I was retelling the entire movie to Scott as looking at him like "how could you not be setting the DVR to record this!?".

Last night I hit an all time low, it was a Hallmark Hall of Fame special presentation on CBS. I forget CBS even exists 90% of the time but saw a preview on VH1 for this movie and actually changed the channel to watch it. How do you do it Hallmark?! How?! By the end of The Magic of Ordinary Days (seriously, with that title) I was on Hallmark's website looking to see if they sold it on DVD. I am not kidding!

Maybe I need rehab or something, or just another Lifetime/Hallmark Hall of Fame movie?
