Multiples and More QOTW
- Scott and I dated less than a year before getting engaged, and we were married a year and a few weeks after we got engaged.
- When the right sippy cup top isn't on the right sippy cup it throws my whole day off, I have to fix it. Some may call this OCD, I call it normal.
- I could watch any and all episodes of Friends a million times and never get sick of them. Love that show!
- I own the Lizzie McGuire Movie and think it's awesome. Don't judge, it's cute.
- I never get my hair colored the same way, I always change something about it,
- I will always stop channel surfing on the radio if I hear: "Don't Stop Believing", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Layla", any Beatles song and "Gimme that Girl" by Joe Nichols.
- I love to bake and hate to eat it. I think I ate enough sweets in my childhood.
- I don't like beef, but always make an exception for the braised short ribs in France during Food and Wine. I literally want to die afterward, but it's so worth it. They are delicious!
- I watch General Hospital, everyday. I've watched it since I was a kid.
- The most romantic thing Scott has ever done for me is he had our wedding centerpieces recreated for our first anniversary. It was like recapturing a moment in time.

Happenings of the last 3 days
Wednesday night we met up with my parents, sister and niece for dinner at Garden Grill, which is inside The Land at EPCOT. The restaurant rotates, slowly, but rotates, as you eat. It's also one of the character dining restaurants that features Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. The kids went bananas over the characters, while they were visiting other kids, when the characters came up to them they acted like they were too cool for school. On Christmas Eve my parents came over and hung out with us while I did some serious baking. I started cooking at 7 am and didn't stop until we left for mass at 5pm. Jill found a new toy, Busia's laundry basket. I was informed they are 2 for $5 at Walgreen's and they come in a variety of colors. Clearly I should not have spent my money on Christmas presents, this would have done the trick....









Dinner was great too! I have a ton of leftovers though! I made ham, polish sausage, garlic potatoes, and green bean casserole and Mimi brought the stuffings and gravy. This was my first time making all this stuff so I was very pleased with how it turned out. I'm going to put up the recipes tomorrow!

Multiples and More Question of the Week
My favorite recipe to make, simply because it is the easiest, is triple chocolate chip cookies. It's basically the Nestle Toll House (which I say with a horrible French accent ever since that one episode of Friends) recipe with a few alterations. Here's what you need:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt (I use Kosher salt)
1 cup (2 sticks, 1/2 pound) butter, softened (unsalted butter, sometimes I use sweet cream butter)
3/4 cup Splenda (you can use regular sugar)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (sometimes I use pure vanilla, makes them super yummy)
2 eggs
1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Morsels
1/2 cup White Chocolate Morsels
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Hand beater to husband so he can try the dough and, as my Mom says, get worms.
Bake in preheated 375-degree oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. I usually switch them on the racks halfway between (that is if one if on the bottom rack and one is on the top) Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
