Thanksgiving Thursday and Honest Scrap

This week I am thankful for:
  • 5.5 years with my amazing husband (1.5 not married, 4 married). I've met my match in every way. Love you!
  • Kids who can make me laugh when I need it most.
  • Snuggle time first thing in the morning with my Jilly. That is the only time she is really still the entire day and I love that 15 minutes.
  • Random kisses from Aaron throughout the day.
  • Great friends who have my back no matter what.
  • Amazing family no matter how close or how far.
  • For Shelby's sweet words today!

Shelby at A Tale of Two Chickens sent me this award:

What you have to do is write 10 things about yourself that people don't know and then pass it on. Here we go!

  1. I love going to the gym strictly for people watching purposes. I find there is no better place to people watch than a gym.
  2. I'm really into genealogy. I've been working on my family tree for a few years now and think it's the perfect excuse to take a trip to Poland. Most people want to vacation in Hawaii, I want to go to Poland to dig through stacks of old papers.
  3. I can poorly speak Spanish and Italian. I was actually going to minor in Italian.
  4. I was a huge *Nsync fan back in the day and feel that it is some kind of divine intervention that I met my husband who went to school with Joey Fatone. I'm literally counting down the days to their reunion.
  5. If I'm in a cruddy mood I listen to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" or Harry Belafonte's "Jump in the line (shake senora)". Both are instant mood lifters.
  6. I am not a bird lover by any stretch of the imagination, but if someone was to mess with the ones that live in the tree in my backyard I would lay the smack down.
  7. Before I met Scott I wanted nothing to do with guns, now I love going to the range and my weapon of choice is a .45
  8. I've become more conservative since I had a family, not crazy conservative but not as liberal as I once was.
  9. I secretly hope my kids will break my nose so I can get a nose job and it be covered by insurance.
  10. I always saw myself as living in a big city but now would prefer to have a quiet house in the middle of nowhere on a lake.
Now here's who I'm passing it onto:
  1. Missy of Two Little Monkeys
  2. Steph of Silly Precious Piggies
  3. Krystyn of Really are you Serious?
  4. Lani of Triplets Who Knew?
  5. Monica of Jonas Family
Thanks again Shelby!

Thankgiving Thursday

Christmas is just a short 15 days away! Clearly something to be thankful for! This week I am also thankful for:
  • This being the last week that Scott has his crazy schedule!
  • Scott being Scott :)
  • The funny things the kids have been doing lately, and how they both try to get away with touching the tree.
  • Mississippi State Cheese! For those of you not lucky enough to have Mimi and PawPaw order you the coveted Mississippi State Cheese, you are more than welcome to come over and try some. *I cannot guarantee that there will be any cheese left
  • This photo:
  • It only being one more week until my parents, sister and niece get here!!! I just hope they don't bring any of that crazy Chicago weather with them!
  • Great friends! Ya'll are the best!
  • Florida AND USC losing this past weekend! Could it have gotten any better?! Oh wait it did....
  • Great work opportunities! I got to talk to Rachel Coleman, the star and co-creator of Signing Time today! She's so sweet and down to Earth! Look for the interview this Monday on Multiples and More!
  • All of those men and women who have sacrificed being home with their families this holiday season to help defend us. I have a few friends overseas and I know they have not been home for Christmas in quite a few years.

Thanksgiving Thursday

>>

Didn't I just write my list for last week???? Oh well...here we go again! This week I am thankful for...

  • Scott and all that he does for us!
  • Two beautiful kiddos that always manage to make me laugh!
  • PawPaw letting me make his birthday cake today! You're gonna love it!
  • Both sets of parents and all they do for us.
  • The nurse today telling me there is no possible way I could have had twins because I don't look like I could. Totally made my day, which makes me wonder if they just say that for that reason...hmmmm
  • The manager at Sweetbay who has twins and always asks me how my kiddos are doing whenever I'm in there. It's nice to go to a store like that.
  • Steve Perry and Rick Springfield's insane fan base! I tagged them both in my post yesterday and got a ton of extra traffic from their fans. Awesome!
  • Naptime, what a wonderful time.
  • The truck not hitting Jenn and I yesterday on our way home from Winter Garden Village. Seriously, we are not allowed to ride in cars together anymore (read last Thursday to find out why).
That's all I got right now. Hope you are having a great Thursday!
