Oh the weekend.

This weekend was a whirlwind for sure. Saturday I was in Sarasota for a bridal shower, it was a fabulous time and I am so excited for this wedding! Aaron and Jill are the ring bearer and flower girl in this wedding, and Scott is one of the groomsmen.

After I got home we went to Downtown since Scott still has his awesome discount from the holidays. At one point though, Jill walked away. She got turned around, she was trying to find me and I had just walked around the corner and she went the opposite direction. I have never been so scared in my life. One minute she was there and the next she was gone. Thank God for Scott because he was able to slip into 'work mode' and start looking for her. I, on the other hand, was holding back vomit and freaking the eff out. All I could think was someone took her and left with her and I'll never see her again. Yup, 30 seconds and that's where my mind went. Thankfully, Jill was one room over and just as upset as I was. I was equally thankful that there was a cast member a few paces behind her making sure she found us. It was hands down the worst experience of my life and I hope to God I never have to go through that again.

Switching to a happier note, Sunday we had a get together with the B6 for the Super Bowl. The kids had their own party while us adults watched the game. I'm diggin' this idea of two parties and think it will be a new tradition.

Seriously, how cute are those kids? Thanks so much Dawn and Dys for coming over!

Hope everyone has a great week!

Getting back into the groove

Last night was well...interesting to say the least. Aaron decided he did not need to go to bed until 10pm. For real! He also woke Jill up around 9:30, so there we were just hanging out in the playroom with Aaron showing no signs of slowing down. It was the longest night of my life! And you would think they would have slept in this morning, right? Oh that's funny....7 am on the nose they were both wide awake! I'm hoping they sleep in tomorrow.

Today we just relaxed, well Scott and the kids did, I braved the pre-Super Bowl crowds at the grocery store. I'm glad I didn't need anything at the deli counter because I never would have gotten anywhere near it, I'd probably still be in line. And why do they put out samples on days like today??? Why?! It just attracts all the old people who act like it's a buffet (no offense, but seriously!). And it's always in the most inconvenient locations, like right in front of the products that you are looking for, or the deli counter.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, anyone have any big plans? Any favorite recipes?

Multiples and More Question of the Week

This week's question is: What are the top ten things on your bucket list?

Hmmmm....well let's see, I'm hoping I have a lot of time on this one, but here goes:

  1. Visit the South of France and eat lots of cheese and drink lots of wine.
  2. Own a Diane Von Furstenburg wrap dress. I don't know why, but I have always loved the look of these dresses, like this one:
  3. To keep with fashion, before I croak, I would love to have a Hermes Kelly bag (with a beautiful scarf tied around it as well!) in red.
  4. Go to mass in Vatican City and see the Pope, even if it's just from far away.
  5. Go to the Super Bowl
  6. See a musical on Broadway
  7. Take a photography class so I can learn to take better photos of the kiddos
  8. Take a cooking class, or classes, to learn about things I've always wanted to make
  9. Have my wedding vows renewed in the Catholic Church so my marriage is recognized by the Church
  10. Take another big family vacation with my whole family. Haven't done that since my senior year of high school (sorry no photo for this one!)
So what's on your bucket list? Head to Multiples and More to link up your blog, or if you don't have one leave a comment with your list!
